Is this for you?

This might be for you if...

  • You understand your attachment style intellectually — but you still get anxious, fearful, or check out in relationships.

  • You keep ending up in relationships that start out exciting but end in disappearing acts.

  • Breakups hit you harder and longer than they seem to hit other people — and the rumination won't stop.

  • You've done therapy or a lot of self-work, but you're still repeating the same patterns.

  • You find yourself either over-giving or shutting down — and it's exhausting.

  • You want to feel genuinely at home with yourself, not just comfortable when things are going well.

  • You're ready to stop performing and self-abandoning for breadcrumbs of connection.

"If you're reading through this thinking 'yes, that's me' — you're in the right place."

The approach

What is somatic coaching?

Trauma and attachment wounds aren't just what happened to you. They're how you adapted to them. And those adaptations were smart — they helped you survive. But now they get in the way of something easier and more natural.

You know that feeling of talking to your best friend — where you're just completely yourself, without trying? That's what we're working toward relationally… that continuous flow of connection to yourself and others, even when things get hard.

Somatic coaching works with those patterns at the level they actually live — in your body, your nervous system, your way of showing up. With curiosity instead of judgment, those old adaptations can finally soften and shift.

Working together

What to expect

Where & how often

Sessions take place on Zoom. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions are recommended — whichever rhythm supports you best in this season of your life.

Session by session or a package

Some clients want the freedom to come and go, paying as they go. Others want to throw their hat over the fence and commit to a package. I like to meet clients where they are — so you have the agency to choose what feels right for you.

Your first session

We start with what matters most to you — what you want in your life, and what would be most meaningful to get from our time together. We'll look at your challenges, what you're experiencing, and sketch a plan. If you come in with something specific you want to work on right away, that's welcome too.

What the work actually feels like

Somatic work is attunement to your inner voice — the voice that can get very quiet when we're out of alignment.

We slow down enough to listen to what might be getting crowded out by the louder parts of ourselves calling for attention. That means tuning in to sensation, unattended emotions, behavioral impulses, and the patterns that keep showing up. We look for communication from the parts of you that are often left unattended.

How long does it take
1

Session one

Some clients feel an immediate shift after just one session.

2

Sessions 4–8

Many clients notice real, tangible change in their lives within 4 to 8 sessions.

3

3–6 months

Deeper, identity-level transformation is a longer journey — and worth it. Three to six months is often the natural sweet spot, with maintenance work recommended after that. Come as long as you're getting benefit from the work.

Behind the work

Hi, I'm Katya

Katya Morozova, somatic coach Katya Morozova outdoors

I'm a personal growth junkie — I'll take feeling alive over being happy any day. I'm obsessed with dogs and enjoy volunteering at my local shelter, a sucker for a good thrift and a tasty cold brew, and throw pottery any chance I get.

Somatic work changed the very essence of how I relate — and I wouldn't like myself as much as I do, or enjoy my loved ones as much as I do, without it. That's why I feel a passionate sense of duty to pass it on.
